About The Role
In this exciting role, you will support the data and development of complex electro-mechanical medical device systems within the Interventional Cardiology Coronary Therapies team. This role will utilize a variety of new and proven technologies to deliver life-changing medical devices to patients and clinicians in support of BSC's mission.
Responsibilities include:
- Review, annotate, and prepare medical images to support machine learning & classical algorithm development.
- Maintain the storage and organization of medical images, annotations, and associated information.
- Develops tools for analyzing data sets and processing medical images through commercial & exploratory algorithms.
- Collaborate closely with data scientists, cloud data engineers, algorithm engineers, clinical engineers, software engineers and systems engineers locally and globally
- In all actions, lead with integrity and demonstrate a primary commitment to patient safety and product quality by maintaining compliance to all documented quality processes and procedures.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Data Science, Biomedical Engineering or related field
- Experience with MATLAB or Python
- Self-motivated with a passion for solving problems.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and collaboration skills

Technical skillsets
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with AWS and cloud technologies
- Experience with machine learning development frameworks
- Working knowledge of image processing
- Manipulating tabular metadata using SQL and Python's Pandas library
- Knowledge of HIPAA, FDA regulations (21 CFR Part 11), and GDPR for medical device data governance.
