AI/ML Engineer

$100-150k base salary
I'm partnered with a Computer Vision start-up in the Factory Automation/Smart Factory domain who are looking for an AI/ML Engineer to join them on a permanent basis.
This role will be responsible for developing and implementing machine learning models and algorithms for computer vision applications in manufacturing as well as fine-tuning & optimizing machine learning models to handle a variety of manufacturing tasks. They need someone who can conduct research, experimentation, and prototyping to enhance the accuracy and efficiency of computer vision systems and keep up-to-date with the latest advancements in machine learning and computer vision technologies and bring innovative ideas to the team.
Key skills & experience:
- Experience building computer vision models from scratch and machine learning pipeline optimization
- Ideally have had exposure toh image processing, image, blurring, histogram, contrast enhancement and Python programming
- Any background in background with CT scans/MRI, manufacturing production or autonomous driving experience would be a good fit for this role
- MS/PhD in Machine Learning, Computer Vision, Software Engineering or Data Science is ideal (could accept BS with relevant professional experience)
- Can work in Cambridge, MA on a hybrid basis (2-3 days per week)
